Based off of fresh garlic purchased at Eastside Farmers’ Market in Madison, WI, in July 2024. Week 10 of the “Farmers’ Market Series.” Each week of the 2024 market season, the artist purchased a different piece of produce (mostly vegetables) from one of the local markets. Through these paintings, she explores the pace and bounty of the seasons and celebrates, of course, vegetables!
