Based off of garlic scapes purchased at the Eastside Farmers’ Market in Madison, WI, in June 2024. Part of the “Farmers’ Market Series.” Each week of the 2024 market season, the artist purchased a different piece of produce (mostly vegetables) from one of the local markets. Through these paintings, she explores the pace and bounty of the seasons and celebrates, of course, vegetables!
