Based off of new potatoes purchased at the Sweet Corn Farm Stand in Cambridge, WI, in July 2024. Week 11 of the “Farmers’ Market Series.” Each week of the 2024 market season, the artist purchased a different piece of produce (mostly vegetables) from one of the local markets. Through these paintings, she explores the pace and bounty of the seasons and celebrates, of course, vegetables!
