Based off of rhubarb purchased at Northside Farmers’ Market in Madison, WI, in May 2024. Week 1 of the “Farmers’ Market Series.” Each week of the 2024 market season, the artist purchased a different piece of produce (mostly vegetables) from one of the local markets. Through these paintings, she explores the pace and bounty of the seasons and celebrates, of course, vegetables!
