Based off of a sugar snap pea purchased at the Northside Farmers’ Market in Madison, WI, in June 2024. Week 7 of the “Farmers’ Market Series.” Each week of the 2024 market season, the artist purchased a different piece of produce (mostly vegetables) from one of the local markets. Through these paintings, she explores the pace and bounty of the seasons and celebrates, of course, vegetables! Learn more about the series here.
