Based off of a tomatillo purchased at Northside Farmers’ Market in Madison, WI, in August 2024. Week 14 of the “Farmers’ Market Series.” Each week of the 2024 market season, the artist purchased a different piece of produce (mostly vegetables) from one of the local markets. Through these paintings, she explores the pace and bounty of the seasons and celebrates, of course, vegetables! Learn more about the series here.
